i was wondering is the mitsubishi, eclipse 2006 is a good car? i want to buy it but i have heard a lot of bad comments about the car! Im also planning on buying it used for about 14,000 is that a good deal?

   for an 06 price is kinda high depending on mileage but the car is over all sound please check to see if u can get warranty or factory warranty transfered then u get what u pay for warranty will replace anything that may be an issue

   most of the bad things I have said about the car is that
   they ruined it in 2000 when they got rid of the 4g63 engine they had been using in them.
   it was redesigned to be like the chrysler sebring because that was the top selling convertible in the country at the time.

   not really a great car anymore, not that bad either, just don’t pay to much for it.

   yes it is, it is a very good car and it’s worth it.

   It depends on what you are using it for. if its just a daily driver than yea, the mitsu will last you and it would be a good buy. But if you are going for horsepower, just stay away. Like it was said earlier, once the 4g63t engine was gone the eclipse was never the same because the aftermarket modifications on that engine model are almost endless.

   I don’t know about the Eclipse 2006 however, I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder 2003. I bought it new. It still looks new, drives new and I am madly in love with driving this car! It has been incredibly reliable AND forget the lies about it being slow…….I smoked a BMW’er the other day. (and yes, the BMW’er driver WAS trying.)

   Stay away from it.I bought a 2004 and it keeps fouling no 2 cylinder.They wont fix.says there is nothing wrong.Its a piece of junk.Warrenty is no good.
